Cherries = Sleep?2

Researchers at¬†Northumbria University¬†announced last week that surveyed participants who drank a few glasses of juice made from tart Montmorency cherries provided an improvement in “sleep-efficiency”. Perhaps even resulting in up to 25 minutes of extra sleep a night!

With a baby waking me up several times a night, this news is no good to me, but hopefully it is to you. I’ll keep eating cherries anyway because they are one of my favourite foods, and now in season!

  • They’ve been at the farmers market the rlast couple of weeks and are so sweet and wonderful! But I’m worried about the effect of the heavy rain we’ve been having on them :(
