I’m baaaaack!
There’s nothing like flying home after a long trip and soaring over the spectacular site of a sparkling Sydney Harbour in Summer-time.
The Harbour Bridge winks, the Opera House smiles and the water shimmers so bright it brings a tear to the eye.
Please forgive my sentimentality, but 6 months away from this beautiful city is much too long. International readers, if you have not yet taken the long trip Down Under, I urge you to do it. I promise to give you a private guided tour.
Dillon and I visited a whopping 10 countries and 26 cities in our never-to-be-forgotten world tour. We took almost 5000 photos (yes, a lot of them were food-related) and only a fraction of them have appeared on this blog (don’t worry, that’s soon to be rectified).
Right now, though, I’m off to find myself some in-season mangoes, cherries and lychees. Speak to you soon.

Your trip inspired me so much. Kept my travel bug biting hard and deep! I loved reading all about your adventures so I’ve passed on my “One Lovely Blog” award to you – please head over to my blog to collect it!
welcome back! It’s so wonderful that you had the opportunity to travel for so long. Although I can’t complain, I always wanted to take off for months at a time, perhaps one day. So, do you have a favorite place?
..And I was under the impression you travel on a permanent basis! Spectacular photo of Sydney by the way!
[...] I guess 2 out of 9 resolutions isn’t that bad seeing as I only had 5 months in Australia before spending the rest of the year travelling around the world. [...]
