They were hand delivered to our Sydney-based clients who absolutely loved them! Unfortunately, our international clients could not receive them as the delicate shortbread wouldn’t travel well, but the lucky Sydney-siders definitely appreciated being treated.
One of my clients even said it was the best shortbread she’d eaten in ages (and she’s an avid baker that makes her own!).
Many thanks to Libby and Ruth for an excellent job on the baking, decorating and packing. It’s wonderful to celebrate a very yummy Polka Dot Cookies Christmas :)
Oops, I completely forgot my blog birthday. December 3rd marked the 2nd anniversary of this food blog, hence my ‘blogiversary‘.
I can’t believe I’ve been babbling on for 2 whole years, boy time flies when you’re having fun!
Thanks so much to everyone who drops by to check out my recipes, photos and travel adventures. Hopefully I can continue to keep you entertained.
I’m currently in the fantastic sea-side town of Lennox Head on the far North NSW coast visiting family. You may remember I’ve reviewed some wonderful local restaurants over the past few years such as Fishy Fishy and O-pes Restaurant & Bar and I’ve still got a few more up my sleeve.
Speaking of restaurants, I’ll be dining as the guest of two very special restaurants in Byron Bay and Bangalow over the coming weeks, thanks to the lovely PR powers of Caroline Desmond. Keep an eye out for those reviews early in the new year.
Right, I’m off to eat some famous Ballina prawns and wait for this storm to pass so I can go for a swim at Seven Mile Beach. It’s so great to be home!
Give me a ‘thumbs up’ on STUMBLEUPON.
