Oh my, that sounds truly delicious. I like desserts that are a mix of the classic and the surprising (ie not another damned slice of lemon tart!) which is what these sound like. And I do enjoy a charming, handsome waiter ;)

How wonderful to read this review. You gave great details! :) I look forward to reading more of your reviews, I spent around 5 months in Australia many years ago and can’t for the life of me remember any names of restaurants we went to. Although I’ll never forget the ambience of a gorgeous restaurant in Hobart Tasmania in the harbor. I think it was a hotel if I remember correctly and the restaurant at the very top floor rotated! It was so beautiful!
