Looking forward to seeing your pics of this recipe – you’re gonna love it! The macadamia nuts add a lovely creamy taste to the crumble.

I much prefer custard or cream to vanilla ice-cream. I’m a real dairy lover! Hope you enjoy it too.

I would never have thought of using macadamia nut in the crumble or topping an apple crumble with custard. Both sound really good. I will have to try them. Bookmarked.

Jessica – You can leave the nuts out and add more oats if you like. But the ‘crunch’ of nuts does help the texture.

Leigh – You’re welcome! I’m very much enjoying hosting.

Megan – I’ve tried to keep the sugar content quite low so that you can enjoy it guilt free (almost) :)

Shara – I have to admit this is store bought custard from Marks & Spencers. I wouldn’t mind a good custard recipe as well.

Does anyone have one? Post it here in the comments or email it to me and I’ll give it a go and post up the results!

Ohhhhhh….I was holding the hunger at bay until I opened up the Carnival. Now I want Apple and macadamia nut crumble with custard. How great does that look! YUM.
