Royal wedding cake replica at Baroque Patisserie5

Talk about good timing.

I received an email from the lovely George at Wasamedia about this cake at Baroque Patisserie the day before I was due to turn up there for a different event (more on that later in the week).

I may not have made the trip down there especially (pink pram in tow), but now that I have, I urge you to do so!

As you can see, Jean-Michel Raynaud has done a stunning job of creating a replica of the Royal Wedding Cake. If you think it looks good in this picture, then just wait until you see it in real life – and can smell the glorious scent of sugar flowers.

Here he is. Proud as punch and rightly so.

If you’re not that keen on checking out the cake then go to try their delicious sweets – remember the macarons I got sent a few weeks ago?

If you’re not that keen on macarons (what?!) then go and grab a seat next to a sunny bay window and enjoy the view of the opera house.

    My goodness it’s an enormous cake! I guess if you had a royal number of guests you’d need it that big. Good to hear it smells good too!
