Most of my drinks are fruit and juice-based here on the blog although I always make dairy smoothies at home they just don’t seem to have made it onto here!

Is it just me or has everyone gone smoothie mad?
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not having a go at them/you, I love a good smoothie as much as the next chick. It just seems like the blogosphere has erupted with smoothie recipes left, right and centre.

Are you sick of your smoothies getting watered down by ice cubes? Me too, but don’t worry – I’ve found a solution!
Simply make ice cubes out of milk and raw cacao (or cocoa powder) and jazz up a glass of milk or smoothie with ice cubes that will keep it chilled AND tasty. You can even eat the cubes on their own as a guilt-free treat, yum! (more…)

There was no greasy breakfast or hangover for hubby and I this year.

They arrived in a beautiful brown cardboard box tied with a red ribbon. Baby Poppy helped me untie the ribbon and then I squealed with delight at its contents. Poppy stared at me blankly, a little freaked out by my sudden outburst.
